Officially uncool.

So, something happened a couple months ago while I was sick that I never mentioned (on here at least). Something big. A mommy milestone you could say.

For a while now I have succumbed to the fact that the chance of me ever being considered cool again by anyone other than maybe another mom is no longer an option on the table. I've got two kids with one on the way. My days are spent wiping butts, playing with blocks or puzzles and making snacks. My nightlife is cleaning up dinner dishes, watching my boys and thinking they are the most entertaining thing ever, watching a little Pooh Bear and being in bed preferably well before 10pm.  My hobbies consist of crocheting and crafts. I get excited when there is a sale on diapers. My only reason for actually having a social life is solely because of play dates. I get it. Not cool.

So, as you can see, things weren't looking good already...
But this was the nail in the coffin. Not only because what I am about to tell you happened, but because I was actually excited about it.

I (ok, WE. Whatever) are now the unashamedly proud owners of a.....mini van!

I can't say enough how much I love it. Although, really almost anything was an upgrade compared to my previous car. That thing was a piece of work. Here are some things I am loving about it...

::It doesn't take 15 minutes to "warm" up::

::All the windows work, and none of them occasionly start sliding down on their own::

::Automatic doors? Yes please::

::It doesn't have that lingering smell of spoiled milk::

::The trunk doesn't need a bungee cord to stay closed (and it's huge!)::

::It has working AC! Last summer was brutal without AC in my car::

Pretty much the only thing negative about it is the lower gas mileage. But luxury ain't free folks. Will likes to call it the race mini van. That has nothing to do with my driving FYI. We did name it, buuuuut it's not exactly appropriate to share. Hehe, now you really want to know dontcha? We are very grateful for this new vehicle. Everything worked out perfectly getting it, and we got a great deal on it. Well, as long as things don't start falling apart in the next year, we got a great deal.
