The day we wore t-shirts outside in January

As much as I hate the bitter cold winter often brings with it here in the Northeast, my body is so adapted to the 4 seasons we have. We had a little warm spell here yesterday. As nice as it was not having to bundle up and freeze going outside, I'm just not ready for Spring yet! I'm still in cozy winter mode, and that 60 degree weather just didn't feel right. Nevertheless, the boys have been itching to get outside, so I had to take advantage of not having to put on 4 layers of clothes to do that. We dragged their bikes up from the basement, and had some fun riding up and down the sidewalk and splashing in puddles!

First snow

Before we moved to our new house Dean would tell Will all the fun stuff they would do in the snow in our new bigger backyard once we moved; Build a snowman and igloo, snowball fights and being pulled in the sled. But what Will thought was that new house = snow! So, he was quite disappointed that our first day in the new house (in October) there was no snow. Ha! But he finally got his snow last week, and was super excited to go out and play. Will and Sam both had a blast!
