Our week in pictures

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Ours was busy, which is why I am JUST now able to sit down and write this!

This week at our house...

We started off our week with Will getting sick with a sore throat and fever, but with lots of laying on the couch watching movies and good nutrition he was back to himself after a few days. I am so happy we still have the juicer too. Since his throat hurt he didn't want to eat anything, but I could get him to drink some carrot, apple and kale juice through a straw!

Sometimes you've just gotta let your baby walk around in his diaper and take picture of him from behind because it is just that cute.

Step one: Push toy over the step and let it crash to the floor; Laugh.

Step two: Cry until mommy gets you your bottle.

Step three: Chug bottle for aproximately 45 seconds.

Step four: Stop drinking and procede to push in the nipple.

Step five: Gotta make sure that nipple is reeeeaaallly pushed in good.

Step six: Make the I-know-mommy-just-told-me-not-to-do-this-but-I-am-going-to-keep-doing-it anyways-face, and hope that the cuteness of it makes her forget that I am not listening to her.

Step seven: Mommy takes away your bottle, so you are forced to move on to other activities. Like playing with rolling pins and water jugs.

All of that was a typical rundown of what happens when I finally get to sit down for ten minutes and eat my breakfast.

Will made a train in the kitchen.

They love playing hide and seek in mommy and daddy's bed! I love how Will is looking at Sam in the last picture!

We had my two youngest sisters over for the weekend while my parents were out of town. I loved having them there, even if my house did look like this the whole weekend:

Friday night we had pizza and ate junk food while watching a movie. Saturday morning I was able to run out to the market on my own which was lovely. If anyone has ever gone to the Public Market on Saturdays imagine doing so with two kids in a double jogging stroller. It takes lots of patiences, and I am pretty sure EVERYONE wants to hurt me. Moving on.

After Sam's morning nap we headed out to do some shopping at Target. Once we were back I got the boys down for naps and then headed to the gym for a 30 min run. Ok, so maybe it looks like I was taking advantage of the girls being there, but it totally wasn't the case. I mean, I let them sit on the couch and eat candy and chips while watching Netflix all day, and didn't get on their case about it once. Sounds like a good deal to me! I made a quick dinner and then Dean took Will and the girls out to the arcade and go kart track! It was so nice having a quiet night. I got Sam down by 7:45pm, did my Jillian Michaels Yoga dvd, and finally ate my dinner in silence. I could really get used to having live in baby sitters!

Our week(s) in pictures

It has been a few weeks since I've done {Our week in pictures}. I guess that means we've been busy! Here is a look at what we've been up to, picture style! Or at least the things I took pictures of ;-)

We ate lunch outside in the BRIGHT sun!

He loves drinking from mommy's water bottle!

We hung out with cousin Ben!

Walked to the park with daddy!

Colored with chalk on the sidewalk. Don't be fooled by this. I had to quickly run and grab my camera and get a few shots before he moved on to something else. This kid is not the sit and color type.

Wrestled with cousin Moe on Grandma Eaton's kitchen floor. Like I said, you're not gonna find him sitting at the table coloring!

Playing in the fridge (One of his favorite things to do! Shhh, Don't tell daddy.)

 Made a special project.

 Dressed up all silly.

Gotta keep my eye on this kid. He loves to push Will's chair over to the window seat and climb right up!

Have a great weekend!

Our week in pictures

Happy Saturday everyone! I just love Saturdays. Dean still has work, and I pretty much do the same thing I do Monday through Friday. But for some reason it just feels different. There is more of a hustle and bustle out in the world or something. Today is going to be a great day; I can just feel it! I got to the gym this morning, showered, did a little cleaning and once Sam is up from his nap we're off to run a couple errands. Dean has a bachelor party tonight, so it's just me and the boys all day. I'm sure we'll end up watching Bambi or Fox and the Hound, and hopefully have an early bedtime for the boys so I can have a nice quiet evening to myself!

A little funny story from the gym this morning. While I was on the treadmill a lady asked if she could change the tv channel that was in front of me to something other than Nanny McPhee. Having not seen it before I was actually getting into it, but I obliged. She changed it to the Pioneer Womans show on Food Network. Sweet! The lady got on the treadmill next to me, and I commented that I followed the Pioneer Womans blog had been wanting to see this show.

Then she says, " I don't really like her; she homeschools." Ha!

I said, "Oh? You don't like homeschooling."

She responded with, "No. I'm a teacher."

To which I said, "Oh. Well, I was homeschooled."

Looking back I have come up with many more better responses like, "Then you should know how much dedication and hard work it takes to educate children!" But of course I didn't think to say that then.

She reponded with, "Well, then you'll probably like her then." and we ended with that. Perhaps if we were in a different situation I would have tried to continue the conversation, but I had been on the treadmill for over 20 minutes and was quite out of breath. It was all quite ammusing though.

We had a pretty typical week around here. Will finally got over his ear infection (Yay!), so I did a lot of running around that I wasn't able to do last week. This is what our week looked like photo style!

We looked out the window.

 Made our own lunch.

Got into the toilet paper while mama was sewing. (Look what happens when I tell him no...)

I swear. I only said no. Dramatic much? Sheesh.

 We played outside in t-shirts!

 Wore shoes with no socks.

 Played at the playground.

 Climbed on tables.

Ate some butter.

Got a haircut.

Made silly faces!

I hope you all have a great weekend!
